put in a set of ceramic (dustless) pads. I've been running them in my wifes volvo for about 4 years and they have pretty much eliminated the dust. So hopefully they will be the same on the Disco. As I'm sick of the black wheels.

I also swapped out my brake lines for some braided longer ones for a 2" lift ones. For anyone changing the brake lines, a few tips:

install the banjo end on the caliper while on the bench (but don't lock it in). otherwise it is too hard to get the banjo bolt on when the other end is connected.
with the fronts, install the lower clip before you connect the hose at the top.

Job went, ok for the rears. Both fronts had the caliper guide pins nearly seized. The drivers side I had to remove the carrier and put it in the vice to get the guide pin out. The grease had all gone rock hard. The brakes were bled at the service just before I bought it, so I never thought to check them. I normally grease them when I bleed the brakes, but obviously some mechanics dont...

Nice, I haven't been there for years, one thing I can remember is finding lots of plastic number plate dress frames at the bottom of the big dunes

Loosened the bull bar (I use that term loosely, its the genuine UK supplied item) and pulled forward so I could open the bonnet, which was a little recalcitrant after the bingle a few weeks back and started ripping the fuel cooler apart.
The four bolts were 243 Loctited in and a mongrel to break free, I was scared they would strip the aluminium.

Got one side apart, cleaned and an O ring and end cap pressed in when the phone rang.
Another service call, so packed up and shot through.

Have to have it all back together by the weekend as I want to use the Disco instead of the BT50.

HaHa Chris. However, it's amazing what a threat, still to be carried out, to make an application to VCAT can achieve. I believe the car will be at Wombat. I'll just make sure my RACV Total Care is paid up.
