Will this missing piece of fan fan blade cause any issues?
It's been like it since I've had vehicle,just wondering if it may cause trouble https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...2018/05/44.jpg

The simple answer is YES.
Go to wish.com it’s an App you need to download- search for Land Rover wheel center. There are heaps of designs(I guessing matching to various LR models). $20 including postage. Took 2 weeks to arrive.
And the nuts are gone! But I ordered new caps from the UK and that’s what turned up! My bad! [emoji45]
Ah then if they aren't security nuts, they are spare wheel nuts. Always get confused with the two dimple types on D2 wheels. Spare wheel nuts are not designed for holding a rotating wheel - they only have half the thread of a standard nut. Plenty of thread for holding a spare on the door. Not enough to hold a wheel on a hub though. You should probably replace them with standard nuts.
:confused::confused:
I'm sure mine fitted the other way around.
The spare wheel nuts had thread all the way from the tapered end right through it to the front end of the nut. This allows it to fit on the spare wheel holder's longer thread.
Can't fit the road wheel nuts onto the spare carrier and tighten the wheel up, as the threads top out within the nut ... which is tapped only about half way into the nut.
285k oil and spin on filter. Gave the air filter a bash to get the dust out. Need to order a water pump and fill service kit from Mario.
Well finally did sevice and wheel rotation, then thought I have a spare hub sitting here I'l change out the right front hub, so after 3 hours stuff in around, spare hub got throne out of the shed in a huf and original one put back on, so I just live with the the 3 Spanish buggers till I get motivated again, one bolt hole was damaged so I couldn't get bolt started .
Now I need to remove the bearing shell for the centre bearing. I've seen a You tube video and the guy used what looked like bent screwdriver to lever this out. What are these called? I also need to take the front uni joint apart, this should go ok as I am slightly experienced in this process.[biggrin]
I've just finished taking the front uni joint apart 12:30pm. This was full of grease and was nice and tight. I think it could've stayed in but as I have the parts, I might as well replace everything just in case.
