Was it the PS pump or belt slipping? I have some belt cleaner here, if you want to drop by you can give it a squirt.

My belt squealed after I'd degreased and hosee down the engine. Is it the belt slipping/wet?

Hi gents. Pump I think. Makes squealing pump like noises and worse when steering wheel was turned. Quite a long time since fluid change so will start there.

    Many thanks Ian.

    Cheers

    As a general statement,,

    The Belt CANNOT slip.

and the belt itself makes NO noise.

    Think elsewhere..

I noticed my Supercharge Gold start battery was beginning to lose it ability to hold a charge so I changed it out for a Delkor 31-1000. I paid a good price of $227 through work, can’t complain about that. What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

What happened to your Discovery 2 today? That's a much better price than what I paid last week for one, IIRC it was $275, walk in off the street retail.
