You've been driving her too hard for too long and you both need tea break.

.... alternatively, check some of her orifices for signs that usually require some attention! There may be a need for liberal amounts of oil, give her a pat on the posterior and she how she responds.

mine responds very nicely when I use the alternative method. Primary method not so much .. (ie. no taste for tea).

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

    Hi Philip
I haven't had a chance to look at the fuel problem yet, its raining a lot here which has put me behind on a job. The disco won't fit in my garage.
Do you mean item 2 Part no. WJP108110?

    Thanks, James NZ

The pipe that wears through is the "green" pipe which turns forward to meet the pipe that goes to the engine. It usually wears through where it turns just near the fuel pump but mine wore through at the next turn as when LR did the program when mine was new someone left a small wiring loom resting on it.
I don't know the part number.
You can get them separately as I just bought a NOS one from a fellow AULRO member.
I f the pipe has worn through there will be diesel everywhere as it runs at 40PSI or more. Mine had a pinhole and coated everything with diesel.
If you only have a small amount of diesel spilled it could be that the rubber gasket on the fuel pump is leaking, but the fuel pipe hole is very common.
    Regards PhilipA

After finishing up a few small jobs on the discovery today, decided to give her a bit of a clean. When vacuuming, the driver side footwell carpet is soaked and wet .
I'll start looking at the Aircon drain pipes and other ways of water ingress.

I suspect it is leaking through the windscreen plenum (it is mostly made up of silicon at this stage) we have had a few heavy days of rain the last few weeks.

If its not one thing its another.

Check that the A pillar drain hole is not blocked. If it is water will rise inside the pillar by around 30 or 40cm and dribble out of a vacant bolt hole behind the side kick panel and saturate the carpet and underlay. Happened to me this time last year. Photo is of the driver side A pillar drain hole location behind plastic sill trim.
