Installing an Engine Guard (over temp alarm) later today, how to do the electrical installation? AFAIK I need to get a 12v wire. Which one can I get?

There's a spare switched 12v pin in the fuse block under the steering wheel. Female spade connector on that and Bob's your uncle, I used it for my low water alarm

Found this in another thread. Is this what you mean? So, how about the negative wire? Where to plug it?

Well just went ahead and already installed it Working perfect.

Choose this bolt to put the sensor: (was it a smart choice?)

I put mine on one of the bolts on the housing for the wet sensor, so I have wet and dry readings at the same place.
You can then compare the wet and dry readings on Nanocom to see how close they are.

Let's hope so, that's the same place I have mine. On mine it reads within a couple degrees of the reading via Nanocom.
