If you have no luck you could try getting a 433 MHz receiver from a wreckers
Hello all, my spare key for a recent 1999 Disccovery* purchase has the wrong frequency, it's programmed into the BCU but I've tested it with a spectrum analizer and it's a 433MHz, I assume a previous owner bought and programmed it in but obviously it doesn't work. My working key I've tested at 315MHz.
So does anyone have a spare 315MHz key with the 5 digit code that they are willing to swap for a 433MHz with the 5 digit code?
*After selling my Disco TD5 I found myself having too much spare time, so I bought another Disco V8 so I can keep myself busy, learning how to fix it
Cheers
Marc.

Unfortunately that would just mean only the 433MHz key would work and I still have a 315MHz key that I'm currently using , worst case I'll just have buy a key for $300 and sell the 433MHz key :-(
I didnt try that myself but theoretically if you connect a 433 receiver in parallel with the 315 one using a cheap signal splitter it should work and a second hand working receiver is cheap then you have both keys working, maybe somebody with more experience in RF applications can confirm that
Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
