Thread: I am back.... well, soon anyway

So, an update...

After 3 weeks "in transit" the car finally arrived on a train from The West. Interesting to note that they transport them in containers.

I went to collect the car, and they to tell me that even though it was already 2 weeks late, I would have to wait another day before I could collect it. Given that I was rostered to work nearly 48 hours in 4 days, and then it was the weekend, it meant that I would have to wait another week to pick it up.

Lets just say, after a brief discussion, it was agreed that they would unpack the train, and have my car at the depot within 90 mins for me to collect.

So, the car is home. Did the paperwork today to get the rego transferred, and the new custom plates are ordered. Once I have them on, I will take some family photos and put them up.

Any good tips for getting rid of years of Kalgoorlie dust??

Leave it in there.

The gold in that dust will prevent the vehicle from rusting.
