    Shock Absorber noise

    I've had an add noise over the past few weeks, coming from the rear. I've emptied out the luggage bins removed the tow bar insert.
    I had a good look at the shockers. The rear passenger side seems loose. The upper rubber mount allows the upper sleeve to rotate and wobble. I think I need to replace the shockers, both of them.
    But what type? The car has coil spring with an inner air bag to adjust the height when towing.

    Shocks are same if airbags fitted or not.

    I like the terra firma shocks cheaper then stock LR shocks and in my opinion as good if not better. Another rattle point in the rear are the sway bar drop rods I thought my shocks were cactus changed them still had a nocking noise finished up being the sway bar drop rods put in new bearmac rods noise gone just something I would check if you haven't already.

    I'll check the anti sway bay on the weekend. Thanks for the tip.
    I'm still waiting for MLR to reply to me request for the cost on the rear shockers.
    They don't want my money?

    No abnormal movement or noise on the anti sway bar. The suspect shocker is a Pedders Red 9500. SO new shockers for me.

    A few years ago had a noise from the rear shocks turned out to be worn bolt that mounts the shock to the diff took ages to track down.
    disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
    detriot locker,lsd front,C.D.L kit,chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift,rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.
