    Wiring aux reverse light

Gday, I've fitted a work light to the D2 as an auxiliary reverse light and looking for info on wiring. I read earlier there is a live wire that runs from the dash to behind the l/h tail light. Could someone "en light en" me on the colour of the wire and where it is behind the dash and tail light, so I can put a switch on it. I'll put a regulator behind the tail light and tap into the reverse light and it will be nice and legal. Cheers.

Cheers rangie man, what I really want to know is where that live wire originates from behind the dash, so I can put a switch on it on the dash. Saves me having to run a new wire.

First of all you'll find a live behind the RH rear cluster not behind the LH one and that wire is not connected under dash it comes from the engine bay for the S12 caravan socket, if you want to trigger a relay with a wire which is at the rear you'll find live in the LH side of boot C0958 pin 1 which comes from C0101/0483 pin 10 light green/orange wire both sides(see RAVE - electrical library - connector views) C0958 should be there even if you dont have PDC
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
