    throttle response zero

today I have no throttle response. I do have M&S lights and it starts just fine. Just no throttle.
It was occasional this morning but tonight I spent at least ten minutes starting and stopping before the throttle caught and I got to drive home.
Once it is caught it drives just fine .
Does anyone know the cure please?

Your TPS might be on the way out. Or when i had this problem, a bolt had come off the pedal at the top. Was doing exactly the same thing as yours.

    No throttle response.

I have read what I can on the matter and have found that by warming up the engine then stopping it and restarting it again it will have a working throttle.
Having said that I drove it about twenty five Kms. and stopped for ten minutes and again, it took four engine stops and starts to get throttle response again.
    What IS going on?
I would have thought a dead throttle would not work at all but when it picks up it is fine and does not fail until restart.
Nanocom tells me 4.7 driver response failure.
    Any ideas Panel?

I strongly suspect your TPS is on the way out. It uses sliding contacts in the pedal control which accounts for the hit and go problems.
