The only thing between the pedal sensor and the ECU is header C0287 which can have some corrosion or bad contact within but if it's not that the only logical presumption is that it's an ECU missbehaviour... provided the TPS is 100% faultless
Has anyone got any idea why my throttle will only work after I have run the engine at idle to warm it up/
Before you ask I have changed the pedal (and wasted cash in doing so)
This thing is starting to lose my love for the marque.
No oil in the plugs.

I had an "intermittent" throttle pedal. You are right, it's not the pedal, it is a faulty AIT sensor in the inlet manifold.
When I trended my IAT on the Nanocom, the inlet air temperature part of the sensor was up & down & all over the place. When it hit 125 deg, I had no throttle. $70 for a second hand one & problems over. Took a while to diagnose though.

Discorevy. asked if I had been messing with the injectors and I had recently changed one. I pulled it today and replaced the o ring and copper washer.
It was a bit better but I can still hear the pump running on ignition turn on and it is taking about ten minutes to get the throttle to "catch".
It starts up straight away every time. and I have recoded that injector I pulled.
I'm getting really peeved now.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
Regards, Nick.
Thanks heaps for that info Milton. I have just spotted your post. I will try that tomorrow.
I have had air temp showing on the nanocom and did not know what it was.
I can be really dumb sometimes.
It sounds just likely to be 'it"
Regards, Nick.
If you have nanocom see the throttle tracks(accel way) in the inputs fuelling menu, way(track) 1 should be around 0.8 at idle and way 2 around 4.2 then 1 should rise while 2 drop when you push the pedal as the sum of them to be equal with the supply all the time...if that's different there's a problem with the TPS inputs for some reason(wiring or ECU), if you get these OK but no response and the IAT(inlet air temp) is erratic it means that Milton was spot on and you'll need a new MAP/IAT sensor....or record a log and post it here

Changed the IAT plug /sensor made not a scrap of difference
I suppose the thing is a little better as it will start after three or four cycles of the engine starting and stopping.
This car is starting to pee me off.
I just don't know what to do. It goes beautifully after you have got a pedal hookup and does not play up until you turn it off and then try to restart. It is just getting hookup that is the problem
So what's the real symptom then? ...cos in your first post you said that there's not throttle response untill the engine is warm without mentioning anything about start then stop and now seems something different like starting/stalling issues... better describe exactly with all the details what's going on
