same deal with the Ford falcon ,, some had 3 some had 4 ,, we would use a blank pipe and make sure it had a good quality hose clamp ..

short answer, yes ,get the 4 outlet if yours is late 2002 on , if not you can block it anyway

What no option for plastic welding, araldite type repair or similar?

I have sanded back worn area and used Araldite and added a mild steel patch on the top and bogged it in as a stopgap. We are doing a trip up to Alice in August and thought it better to have a newy.

Over the phone the difference was described as the 4 outlet has a large hose nipple under side and the 3 outlet does not. My question is, can I use the 4 outlet and just plug off the extra outlet underneath?
