    h/brake convertion

Has anyone come across this conversion from h/brake drum to disc setup. thinking about the setup for towing plus eliminate the associated h/barke rattles problems. Trying to source the kit if it exists.

    ,
Yep. Same with park. There were many old, heavy trucks that did the same. But, on a steep, muddy off camber slope I reckon a hydraulic handbrake, such as your wife, would be in order..
Actually, hydraulic handbrakes aren't that difficult to do. Used to fit them to our pretend rally cars, rear wheels only. No ratchet, but awesome handbrake turns.

thanks for the replies I think a hydraulic set up might be the way to go, the thought of one wheel holding worries me a little.

What does the handbrake have to do with towing ? , nothing much goes wrong with the drum or shoes so just leave it original .
