I have allways stayed away from power flushes due to the fact your relying on a unknown person or garage

god know what oil is used to flush as far as we know it could be recycled oil then the good oil

just be aware when asking for a flush do they change the screen in side the transmission or is it just a flush some garages just drop the oil in the pan

you can perform your flush disconnect the return line going back the transmission... bucket is needed ..start engine and pump in oil until it comes out clean

ps a little off topic but the same scenario with a air cons as I do my own air con work... stay away from those machines that allow you to pull out the gas out and recharges your system ..just wonder how many different blends of gasses can mix

Auto Transmissions R Us in Balcatta did a service which included a power flush and filter change when they replaced my xyz switch a couple of years ago. From memory the service component inc labour was in the $200's.

They have a good reputation and a number of other forum members have used them.

Any competent transmission shop should be able to do a service as the zf is a common box. I'm sure other forum members will have recommendations as well.

    Cheers

    Steve
