    Saggy rear

    Hey all,

    Looking for some advice.

    When i load up the D2 for camping the rear drops substantially. Current suspension setup is ~3 years old and possibly has the incorrect springs.

    Replace springs or add airbags?

    When the vehicle is not loaded, is the rear height and suspension satisfactory? If so, then consider airbags. If not, then consider changing the springs.

    If you dont have the hardware for SLS already fitted it could be expensive and hard to convert so here is a good alternative IMO: https://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Sus...one/F4121.html , these will work with a good brand tyre inflator compressor no need for fancy one

    Taking out the SLS was the worst thing I have done to my car. Didn't know about this forum much then, and got sick of coming back to a car dropped at the back. Eventually I'll put it back.

    That's what I did. Ran the airlines up to the towbar near the receiver. Easy to pump up with a compressor as SF says, or just at the servo. Need to be careful not to overinflate them at the servo though.

    So, was it always like this? Three years isn't very long in the life of a spring, unless you are seriously overloading it. So maybe the springs are incorrect like you say.
