    High/Low shifting cable loose

    Hi,

I'm having some trouble with shifting from low to high on my recently acquired D2. From beneath the vehicle I can see the cable switch is coming out of its bracket, so that all tension is lost in the cable and the gear lever becomes useless. If I clamp it together with vice grips I can get it working but obviously is not a permanent solution.

It seems to be missing a ring clip or something to hold the cable in place against the bracket. I've tried screwing on a hose clamp but it didn't work out.

(Not sure of the right terminology but hopefully I've explained myself OK(.

Does anyone know what the particular part is that I need and where I can get it?

    Cheers
