    Nanocom or similar in Perth

Hey guys I'm super new to posting not sure if this is the right forum. So this map https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/vi...AJPJ2WEbEXcPcA shows people in Perth with nanocom devices. The thing is there are no contact details and I can't private message the user :/

Does anyone have one I can borrow in Perth to bleed my ABS on my D2 td5. I can't take it anywhere so hopefully someone can let me borrow one I'd be happy to leave a deposit and beer.

Hi, did you empty all the system to need power bleeding? cos only then it's necessary but even then according to wabco you should be able to bleed it well manually...power bleed is required only if air got into the modulator cos it can be some trapped between the return pump and outlet valves ...if you can't find anybody with tester to help you pedal bleed it in the right sequence then find hill and drive down using HDC to put the modulator to work then pedal bleed again... this way you'll be fixed

about the sequence, in RAVE it's the other way around than in wabco documents(see page 33 pct 8 in attachment) according to them you have to start with the farthest wheel from the master cylinder and according to RAVE with the closest one

by using logic i'd be inclined to start like wabco sais though strangely they dont say anything about tester bleeding

Hi yes after changing the master cylinder I bled the brakes the manual way and then I bled the brakes by using the abs pump making sure the new brake fluid came through. Unfortunately the brakes did not work either way and my only hope now is that there is air in the modulator which requires a nanocom or something similar (to my understanding anyway).

I wouldn't want to drive it anywhere either as the brakes are really soft.

By pedal bleeding you bleed the hydraulic inlet valves open circuit which works for mechanical braking, if air is trapped in the modulator that's on the outlet valves closed circuit which can affect only one of the active braking features(ABS, TC, HDC, EBD) no impact on the mechanical braking so if you bled well the circuit manually in the right sequence power bleed will not help for soft brake pedal the problem is somewhere else

K so how would I diagnose it? so far the brake just work if I have the car in netrual. Do you think I just bled it wrong?

If you still need a nanocom, you don't say where in Perth you are, and it's now a large area place.

Yep. Happy to lend to a member, as would most if they are reasonably close, although I'm certainly not a guru on procedures, but plenty here who are.
