    Experiment with Dexcool has ended

Dexcool put in with new 4.6. 15k later and slow leak... Found this20161002_132414.jpg

So going to fix then back to Nulon Ethyl Glycol per the Disco 1. Given the motor is from a Gems P38A it makes sense anyway. 20161002_095203.jpg

    Cheers

That nulon coolant is HOAT coolant. It finds leaks just as easy as the OAT. I couldn't stop my Freelander from leaking with it. Every joint leaked with new hoses. Changed to Gulf western gylcol type A coolant. No leaks

Thanks mate. Good call. Looks like it boils at 108 though which doesn't give a lot of margin for error! Given I haven't got any hose leaks I might persevere with Dexcool or Nulon HOAT/OAT. CHEERS
