I've changed my transmission ECU for one from the USA from a 4.6 with 06 build date on it.

With my old ECU, Sport Mode turn off when the engine was turned off and then you had to push the button again after the engine started if you wanted it back in Sport Mode

With the new ECU, after pushing the button it stays in Sport Mode all the time until I push the button to turn it off, no matter how many times the engine is turned off and on.

So, can anyone confirm if that was a feature of the late model D2's?

Also, does anybody know if the shift points are different on the 4.6 transmission ECU. It sure does feel different.
