    Yep, I've watched a video of it and it sounds awesome!

    He's using the original 4L ECU without any modification and it bolts up to the ZF auto with only a "slight" modification.

    Was the 4.8L LS ever available in Oz?

    It gets better; apparently he's currently doing a 5.3L LS into a D2.

    Only thing is the 4.8 and 5.3 ls motors are a cast iron block so the weight would be a bit more than a rover motor. But the grunt would be more than enough to make up for it.
