    Middle Dome Light

Is there a replacement for the middle dome light in a Disco 2? Pulled out the head lining and when attempting to undo the nuts nearly all the screws moulded to the light fitting just shattered. Same with the cargo nets though not that worried about them.
Is there a better way using nut serts or similar?
Cannot find any new replacement lights.
    Cheers

    Daft design

Those "bolts" have to be the daftest thing I've seen in a car. I broke a few on the map pockets when I changed the head lining.

BTW I think the OP is after the plastic trim that the middle light sits in. The centre light clips in and out of this piece, which is held in by those atrocious "bolts"

    Thanks,
That would be the bit i am after, but I think that one is for the sunroof version, but gives me something to chase. Thinking about what else I can do. Will have a look how I could modify it and make it better, maybe using small nutserts or similar.
    Cheers

Nah not the same the sunroof version has a spot for the sunroof winder, the one I am after is non sunroof, so just a square frame effectively. I have found a couple of sites that may have them though. Thanks for the link though

Well certainly not going to replace the overhead net pockets at $200 AUD plus freight for cheap arse crap. Will see if aftermarket ones will fit.

    Thumbs up Wrecking?

D1 and D2 are the same AFAIR. Some lovely person will have bits on a vehicle being wrecked out.

I got a couple from TRS for $40. What's the $200 all about?

    Cheers
