Is there any way to adjust the bonnet release cable or latch? mine started to make tricks and i have to pull it twice or harder ...or any easy fix for that?

Slightly loosen the latch or catch bolts. Move them relative to each other until you find the spot where it opens with an easy pull of the cable.

I did that. I guess it depends what's happening. If it's stretched like mine you are up for a new cable. Cheers

    Hi jack

I'd be more interested in moving the damn thing to the driver's side, anyone tried that?

    Regards

If you did that, it would open the boot.

x2 for removing the anti-tamper shield. absolute pain in the ass when your cable breaks and you've got no way of opening the bonnet.

X3 for removing the anti-tamper shield.

Wonangatta Valley, Victorian High Country 2014, a snapped bonnet pull cable on my D2 but lucky to be in a club group and have access to "know how" and other vehicles well equipped for any eventuality but it still took 3 hours to gain access - most of it through smashing the anti-tamper shield to smithereens.

I like the idea of moving it,,
had reason to try and reach it from the drivers side the other day (yes superlock works with flat batts),
