    1/2 width rear draws?

I've got a 7 seater, which we often use at least 1 rear seat. Thinking of building a 1/2 width draw with fridge slide on top, with the other side being a removable camping draw stack type of thingo.

Has anyone done this or have feedback on what's worked or not worked?

I have seen these before but have never used one myself. Search for 'single rear drawers' on google and you will find quite a few company's do them. If you are skilled enough to make one yourself, even better! The ones I have seen in the flesh usually had a fridge sitting next to it as it sits lower that way. In your case, with the fridge on top of the drawer and sitting next to the 6th seat, it shouldn't be a problem at all. I reckon go for it!

Edit: found this as an example. Look half way down on the right. It is a drawer with fridge combo sitting next to the 6th seat.

You'll want to make damn sure that fridge is "rollover safe"

At least with design the 6th passenger can grab refreshments without getting out of their seat!
