Severe power loss - help needed!

    161217B.xls

I have had an ongoing issue with lack of power right through the rev range.
I cannot maintain 100km/hr in 5th gear on flat ground towing a 900kg trailer.
The vehicle is strugling to accelerate at all below about 2200 rpm. Even with out the boat on the back, it is difficult to maintain 5th gear.
I have replaced the MAF with a Seimens unit, cleaned the MAP with contact cleaner - no great improvement.
I have created a short trip log in the Nanocom, downloaded it and hopefully managed to attach it to this post.
I am hoping some of you very knowledgeable guys can give me some advice as to what these results indicate.
    Thank you in anticipation

Sounds like it is overboosting, You can check by bypassing the wastegate module by running a tube direct from the aftercooler pipe to the waste gate accuator. It can be caused by split rubber hoses or a faulty module, they are not expensive to replace.Presuming it is a td5

Hi, the attachment should be the format i converted it

as about the problem, it's clearely visible that there's no power, actually no suction cos the MAF doesnt exceed 280 while the MAP gets to max 140...
    1. if you still have EGR make sure it's not clogged,
    2. if it's the newer modell with a catalist this can be clogged as well(undo the downpipe from the turbo and make a short drive test)
    3. make sure there's no restriction in the air intake/air box
    4. it can be low fuel pressure too

    Thanks all.
Suggest I should have given some more info, and yes it is a TD5 :
    EGR - GONE
    Cat - GONE
MAF - replaced 10,000 kms ago (have disconnected last week and no improvement)
    New Air Filter

Then it's low fuel pressure or clogged intercooler IMO

There is also quite a lot of black smoke on "attempted" acceleration.

    Recheck the hoses.
The black smoke may indicate a delaminated hose or loose clamp/hose.
    Cheers, Kyle
