yes to both.
the alternator just clears. didnt have to take any sound deadening off the bonnet either. no rubbing.

How did you get the ECU to talk to the Rover ECU? Have you gone for MAP?

i might do a write up. more of a documentation thing
it's easy. you dont have to reinvent the wheel.
the GM ecu does the LS1 management
the LR BCU does the body management
and here's the kicker, don't remove the LR ECU because even though it's no longer managing the engine, it still does stuff like instruments and talking to the BCU.
how did you mate the engine and gearbox?
Do you prefer long walks on the beach, or going out to dinner?
