    Evo stock rims and 245/75/16 AT (but not aggressive AT...I am about to put on 31inch Duratrac....)

    yep,that sized tires will work in favor of fuel economy.

    im running 18 inch rims, 265 width.

    My LS1 SS 6 speed ute (3.7 diff gears) does combined 11.5 L/100km. My 4.0L auto D2 does 17.5.

    yeah, my
    VY ute gets 16 around town and 8 in the highway.

    either way im thrilled with the results

    Massive difference though...weight, wind resistance, 4wd v 2...I mean really the little 4l in a disco is a far better proposition than the petrol offerings from Toyota 100 and GU Patrol of same Era.

    Did you make the brackets to shift the alternator or are they aftermarket?
