    Rear cooling for children/fans

Does anyone have any hacks/suggestions for better airflow for our little one in her car seat?

A little battery powered clip on fan in the grab handle didn't cut the mustard and the reviews for the 12v clip ons don't seem that great. What has anyone else done as the rear never seems to cool as much as the front?

I fitted a Sirroco fan in my caravan it's not that small but might fit on the back of the console between the front seats and drag the cool air back.

    Hi Shakey

SCA Oscillating Car Fan - 12V, Black - Supercheap Auto

Is this the fan you're referring to?

Im in a similar situation (wanting a cooler rear cabin in my D2) and walked past a similar item in the shops. I stopped to ponder if there was at least a sturdier, Ome looking option but left it at that.

Cu55tm Disco's suggestion of the rear ac unit would be an obvious option but ive been unsure of where to start with this retrofit.

Am interested in what you end up doing.

    Regards

    Lyhoon

Or maybe one of these Look at this on eBay New Portable 12Volt 6Inch Car Cooling Fan with Clip Switch Outdoor Camping FT | eBay as we had a really cheap battery one that was useless. I'm not sure I want to invest in rear AC as we may change the car soon!

Sirocco fan, good airflow and low current. You'd need to make up some kind of fixing bracket for it though.

This was the setup from the weekend. The sirocco fan makes more sense now I was thinking the main fan from a VW Sirocco!

Obviously the centre vent pair are pointed up and into the centre,, and the fan is run accordingly?

    Caframo Fan - YouTube

    Looks pretty solid here.

Centre console/armrest or above one of the front seats?
