    2000 td5 disco negative boost pressure

    ok looked at a 2000 model td5 disco auto4 days ago boost was intermittent but working and better when cold
    today it is gutless and appears to have little or no boost
    1 has new turbo hoses
    turbo has been removed and wastegate etc checked
    changed modulator (no change)
    with nanocom in instrument mode it reads -0,6 at idle and while driving with any variation in boost always being -0. etc
    any help greatly appreciated

    Perhaps your MAP sensor is crook, or the plug has fallen out, or you have chafed the wires.

    Unless the turbo is absolute toast or you have a BIG air leak, then that to me is most likely.

    PS Have you cleaned the EGR gunk out of the MAP sensor and checked that the EGR valve is moving?

    Map was replaced as it was throwing iat fault and reading at 120c
    Fuel pump is what I was thinking
