    viscous fan bearing

    Ok guys, whats the best way to remove the bearing on the viscous fan, without taking it a landrover machanic. I'm very mechanical minded, but just asking for better advice. cheers.

    Remove pulley. Remove hub. Remove circlip. Put 3, 8mm bolts into hub screw hub back on with heads of the bolts facing towards the engine. This will pull the bearing out. Just use longer bolts until out.
    Use bearing retainer on new bearing as I have seen a few spin after replacement.
    It doesn't leak oil, Its sweating power

    Thanks guys, Where can i get some of those tools from or just compromise. What size is the viscous fan nut please.

    All done , took me 3 & 1/2 hrs. to replace the new bearing, sounds much better now, no more squealing.
    Now for the body lift this weekend. thanks to alien & woko for good advice, i used both ideas.
