    Fitting rear draws into a 2004 Discovery2

I finally bit the bullet and have ordered a set of rear draws to fit my D2.
The problem I have is what on earth do I anchor them to on the floor of the vehicle ?
ALL the seats have been removed from the rear of the truck so I have heaps of room to fit the draws in, They are 1000mm W x 900mm L x 270mm H .
Can anyone let me know where I can anchor these down to?

Why not remove the tie down loops and bolt into the nuts?

I thought of that But the tie downs are a smidgin over a metre so they are too far apart to do the job.
I had a bit of a scratch around and found these that will maybe suit the mounting rails on the draws.
I have NO idea what the ones at the front under that flap of carpet are for , Maybe body mounting bolts ?

I used 4x turnbuckles attached to the 2x rear sides of the drawers and 2x attached to the front end (behind the rear seats) and hooked those into the 4x D-Rings in the cargo area floor.

That sounds like a great idea, How did you attach the turnbuckles to the draw frame ?

Metal plate with a D-Ring bolted to the side of the drawer frame ... turnbuckles have a loop at one end and a hook at the other end (the bottom which hooks into the disco d-rings).

The draws won't arrive for another Month But I will head into Bunnings to see what I can find in the way of fixings and turnbuckles.
If I can't find anything suitable there I will have a squiz at a couple of the Marine stores that we have here in town.
I am liking your idea a LOT

These should give you a better idea .... left hand side. Front is same but is tucked in behind the rear seats.

You can just make out the right hand side in this one

    Cheers
