    Intermittent Electrical problems

    Hi all,

Had some strange intermittent faults yesterday

First - passenger window wouldn't work, could hear relays operations but no up/down

Second - three amigos came on (same trip) then off after stopping restart

How this morning window working again!!

    Where do I start looking??

I'll check the fault codes later today and post if any??

    Cheers Lemo

For the "Amigos" check the earth wires behind the left headlamp.
One is the earth for the shuttle valves.
Lots of info saved for reference in The Good Oil...
Electronic Driver Aids, Including the 3 Amigos (ABS- T/C- H/D).
    Cheers, Kyle

mate, fairly sure u have a faulty wheel sensor, intermittent prob, so when there is no signal from the sensor your 3 amigos will come on,

I cant tell u which one it is as u are using a Nanocom?? i dont kn ow there codes...
my hawkeye tells me which wheel sensor ......

Most common one to fail is the drivers (rhs) front for some reason.

As for the windows, just a coincidence i think, or a sep problem

Our front passenger window doesn't like the rain. We try not to use it in showery weather in case it stays down when we want it up.

This one will be your 3 Amigos. You may be heading for a shuttle valve overhaul on the ABS modulator. Not the end of the world and I'd clean relevant plug contacts first, clear error code and see how you go.

    cheers

CAN message error can be oil at the bottom of the ecu causing CAN signal issues. Conveniently the wires at the bottom of the ecu are the CAN signal wires. Easy to look at and clean, before looking at other sources of errors.

I've had this one or two times. Loose yellow/green wire in the abs block caused it. Option B bypasses the loose wire 🤔or you can push the wire in firmly into the block. Not saying its this, but start at the simple remedies, before going the whole 9 yards.

The 22.1 code may relate to an ABS wheel sensor. The following thread will give more info LIST OF FAULT CODES

The P code is Auto transmission, google P1884, but reading another doc I have, it is likely the be a comm error between the engine ecu and transmission relating communicating the torque being output.

    cheers
