SupporterI recently fitted one of the EDS units that are available via 4WD Supercheap to my D2.
I bought it primarily for the extra gauges it includes and it seems to work quite well.
I can now see what my coolant temperature is Exactly instead of just relying on the standard temp gauge also the Volts coming out of the alternator and other engine functions as well.
It can apparently also clear and store fault codes also.
It isn't in the same league as the Nanocom But for less than a hundred bucks it is a pretty handy set of extra gauges

Yes it shows all those but the display isn't as "Flash" as the "torque" setup and you can only see 4 readouts at any one time.what else does it tell you?

I have MAF, Intake air temp, Engine coolant temp and Volts on my home screen.
If I want to look at any other readout I have to scroll through to find it.
It certainly isn't a "Bells and Whistles" setup But as a basic device it is pretty handy

SubscriberThe Td5 is not OBD-II compliant. Diesels only had to comply to OBD-II standards from 2004.
