    Nanocom fault: 3 amigos

    Some progress.
I nipped up the pins at the modulator connector and it seems to have fixed the right rear output solenoid error.
However, the shuttle valve error made a brief appearance early on yesterday's drive, but all good for the rest of the day. So I seem to be getting somewhere.
At least the shuttle valve error, if real, can be easily fixed.
I think I'll leave things for a few weeks and see how it goes.
Anyway I found a new problem yesterday. The back passenger door won't open from inside. Does it never end?

Thanks Philip, that's the first thing I looked at. Everything else seems okay, just can't open from the inside.

Darn things. Mine's the opposite, i.e., will open from the inside, but sometimes not from outside. OK, mine I think is it's not unlocking properly, yours, well you can take the panel off when it's open, close it and try opening it by pulling on the rod that connects the handle to the lock. If it opens then you need to shorten the rod. If it doesn't you may need a new lock.

the interior handle is connected to the latch with a cable , unfortunately not adjustable but it might be unhooked, this one

    Hi,
Just a thought how's your battery?? I was getting the three amigos, with shuttle valve faults and some other gear box faults.
Did all the appropriate checks etc and while checking found my battery low on volts 11.5vish at rest and dropping to 8v on crank.

New battery and no more faults???

It's times like these I wish I knew how to multi-quote.

Johntins, I now realise why sierrafery didn't think you could repair the modulators. The amount of epoxy they poured into these things makes the internals inaccessible.

Lemo, I have considered the battery, but it seems to hold voltage quite well. I might just top it up with the charger anyway.

Looking at the schematics for the door handle, I suppose there is a chance that it will not require a new latch. From past experience though, I expect it will.
