SLS & Onboard Air Installation Advice

Could I go to Landy place with the coil springs in, get SLS turned on & go home & put the airbags in? It's a 10 minute drive

    Yes but.
I would be calibrating the system as well.
You will likely have to get faults cleared afterwards.

It would be better to get a member with Nanocom from the beginning.

Fitting and Inflating the bags manually then head to the Landy shop and have calibration done would be the best option if nanocom not available.

Blue plug passenger side valve block
White plug drivers side valve block
Black plug exhaust just at front of compressor
    Other one (thicker wires) compressor

    Cheers Lemo

Also might want to think about some bypasses if the compressor or valves fail.

    Got these from Pirtek
Schrader valve with 1/8 bsp thread
    Tee 1/8 bsp thread
4mm push in fittings 1/8 bsp thread
And mini ball valve (on order so don't have s pic)

Cut these into the lines going to the bags and you can isolate the compressor and pump up the bags with your on board compressor if the main fails

The blue & white insulation tape on the airbag lines is a good idea

Today new o rings on the air fittings. A trip to Pirtek resulted in a similar idea to Lemo

Except without the push fittings at each end. I opted for olive fittings.
Tomorrow hopefully will install the air springs. These brass fittings will be mounted to some angle that's been trek screwed to the chassis behind the big round SLS thing (dryer?) that's behind the compressor. Needless to say the fittings will be spliced in permanently.

So a few months on all is going ok. I've got a slow leak in the drivers side bag that causes the drivers side to deflate to the bump stops in about 10 hours. I'm 99% sure that it's the solenoid. If I turn off the 2 inline shutoff valves the airbags stay up. So it must be something at the compressor.

I pulled the solenoid apart today & cleaned it with a toothbrush & compressed air. I noticed that the seals aren't the best.

Can I put in new seals in the solenoid or am I up for a new one?
