Question DTC100810 Centre Caps for Steel Wheels - do they stay on when offroading?

Anyone have experience with the DTC100810 Centre Caps for Steel Wheels and 4WDing/offroading? Do they stay on or end up left behind in a hole somewhere?

You may lose one at any time .. anywhere. So not specifically just off roading!

Brother lost one not long after he bought his D2(Jan '17), and had been hunting a non expensive replacement. Finally got one in early June.

LRA has them at a reasonable price.

I think the trick is to be sure it's securely attached.
Brother fitted the replacement, so I didn't get to feel how it clicked in, but heard the click.
We then tried to force it off by hand, and it wouldn't budge. Seems like it needs a pry bar of some kind(eg. screw driver) to remove it.
If it feels a little loose in any way, I dare say it'll get lost.
    Arthur.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
