    D2a Headlight globe replacements

I suspect not - due to focussing issues? but does anyone know if these are suitable for D2 update headlights?

I replaced all 4 of my bulbs with H7 globes that are quite good.
I also have a lightbar and a set of 9inch led spotties that make the headlights redundant on high beam.
I am also curious how the LED bulbs perform and will be watching this thread with interest.

I reckon on the D2A lights they may not allow you to put the cap back on. You'd have to get them in hand to be sure, but the sealed headlight design is one of the nice upgrades to the D2A it would be a shame to compromise them.

Definitely a seniors moment! Got myself confused between the RRC which has H4 and the D2a which of course has H7 bulbs - DUHH!

Careful with high out put headlights bulbs, might be good for the driver to see better, but not road friendly for oncoming traffic. and probably not road legal ?

    powerbulbs.com

I just bought a set of 130% bulbs for mine. Admittedly they haven't actually arrived yet.

but I got 4 bulbs delivered for less than I was going to pay for 2 from other aussie sites.

Osram Night Breaker Laser H7 Car Headlight Bulbs | PowerBulbs

it says they are road legal (perhaps in the UK), so it must be true Also they have night breaker laser etched on the globe for extra performance...

I'm off to singapore for 10 days, so hopefully they'll arrive while I'm away. You can swing past and check them out if you like.

Ah great. I wasnt sure what to get, they all seemed about the same. Those ones just seemed to have good reviews. Lucky I grabbed the correct ones.

    globes installed

I installed the globes on the weekend.

I do think they are an improvement. Not a resounding night and day..

But there is definitely more light and it is whiter. I think it has improved visibility. I'm happy with the change which cost me $68.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a before picture. But low and high beams attached.
