Thread: ACE with 3" lift - anyone used the longer front link pins in the rear?

I can't answer to that question i just want to tell you that for the ACE to work 100% well after the lift you'll have to recalibrate the accelerometers

Yes. You will need 50mm bumpstop extensions to do it.

it corrects the performance of ACE from the lift and takes the twitchiness during turn in / mid corner.

With tester(nanocom/hawkeye/etc) there is an option for accelerometers calibration... albeit nanocom is still not 100% reliable when it comes to ACE it has the capability: UTILITY:
· Calib. Accelerometer 1: This function allows you to calibrate the accelerometer used by
the ACE to manage the process of cornering enhancement.
· Calib. Accelerometer 2: This function allows you to calibrate the accelerometer used by
the ACE to manage the process of cornering enhancement.

these are important as long as the initial distance between the accelerometers and ground has changed... and with a lift that's obvious

though hawkeye is much more reliable in this particular area cos it has overall system calibration power

Thanks. I was not aware of this. Is this to be done while the vehicle is stationary on flat ground?

Cheers. I've got the LRA White Tiger 50mm bump stop extensions fitted in the rear. This evening I fitted front longer link pins in the rear.

Previously I had the LRA White Tiger rear link pin mount extensions fitted but one of them failed on me on the weekend. Using the longer front link pins is easier and looks to me to have the link pin at a better angle.

That's exactly it. The ram will come very close to the bodywork and also the back of the ram will come very close to the cross member but the 50mm bumpstop should look after it.

If you you haven't driven it already I think you'll be really surprised by the improvement.
