Yep mate. Worked that out a little while ago. There is a reason comp trucks have massive travel . Keeping wheels on the ground means traction.

The sway bar disconnects are why the Jeep Rubicon works so well (apart from their lockers).

    Cheers

I have seen that before. I'm not doubting that traction aids are good. Preaching to converted. Buy sway bar disconnection has a host of benefits. I would probably do them first. Each to their own. 🤣 I did post this in the D2 section. So they have good traction control already. In my view extra travel with CDL and the traction control would be an excellent thing and something to consider doing instead of lockers.

    Cheers

I was thinking about this when I first saw the x eng sway bars, and unfortunately I just dig holes for a living.
But what a great product, much like ace in a d2, although electrics and pneumatics aren't as reliable as hydraulics.
Articulation has limits in its real world effectiveness.
All the ultra 4 rigs are using sway bars.
I ran sans sway bar in a 2 door rangie with working load leveller for years , heaps of body roll.
I needed to repaint the door handles quite regularly.
I fitted a standard sway bar to my 110 and love the control it gives, unfortunately it robs a bit of articulation, my thoughts are you can use all of the factory droop travel, but designing more in doesn't really stack up.
A D2 with ace is a better jigger to drive than without.
