    Td5 Overboosting.

Hi guys, I've recently done some mods to my 2003 D2a and have come across an overboosting issue that has me stumped.
I had a TRS map and Installed a larger Intercooler and Radiator. This is where the overboosting started. As I had already wound my wastefate modulator out it was an easy fix to take it back the other way to nearly rectify the issue totally.
I then had a reco head and a decat pipe installed at the same time and then had a massive overboosting issue. Again wound back the waste gate and nearly rectified the issue as well as bypassing the electronic wastegate modulator. Didn't worry to much as I was about to install a Hybrid Turbo, boost box and Td5 Inside map, so thought that should sort my issues.
Ive just installed the Turbo, boost box and now map and am still having the overboosting issue. My readings from the boost gauge are showing overboosting at 20psi.
If anyone can shed any light on this as I am absolutely stumped !!!!
    Cheers in Advance.

I guess you've tested that the wastegate isn't stuck closed? With all the changes you've mentioned, it seems to be the only constant. Just guessing though.

If you have a nanocom or similar, does it actually log overboosting fault?, its more likely to be the maf going past its range cutting fuelling temporarily, it can feel similar , go for a drive with it disconnected, and we'll go from there

The MAF is only a few months old and yes Genuine, so I would pretty disappointed if that has failed. The Nanocom logs an Ambient Pressure Fault.

I didn't say the maf is failing , it is drawing too much airflow because of the turbo , did you go for a drive with it disconnected?
You also need to fix the aap fault, what does it read?
