As far as I'm aware, they are the same, i.e., 3.54:1.
The owner's handbook should say.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there were different Diff ratios in the D2's for Auto or Manual transmissions (and what they were?)
or if they were the same?

Thanks p38arover - Why didn't I think of that? - RAVE to the rescue!
with a bit of digging looks like it says
3.538:1 front and rear!
Comparing gearboxes from Auto to Manual looks like I will get a low first gear then the rest of the ratios almost line up to each other, also Reverse looks low as well
Auto = 1st = 2.480, 2nd = 1.480, 3rd = 1.00, 4th = 0.728, REVERSE = 2.086
Man = 1st = 3.321, 2nd = 2.132, 3rd = 1.397, 4th = 1.00, 5th = 0.732, REVERSE = 3.536
So fuel use should just about be equal, with same diff ratios and transfer case!
let the games begin!

If you need lower ratios, and if the transfer case is the same as a Defender, get a Defender unit. In fact, I may just know someone with a Defender who is after the higher ratio Disco diff.

Thanks Ron,
I am cool with the Disco ratio's just wanted to make sure that I transferred everything I needed to from the manual car to the other one to keep factory set up, while I have them both together.
