    Hill descent, ABS and TC

Went over a speed bump and had all three come on. Turned off, on again, and they were gone. Any ideas??

Commonly called the three amigos. Look up the good oil or google inthe search button on the lift bottom of the page. Heaps of information there.

You will need a na com or similar to see what code is getting thrown to start your search.

Good luck. They are the gift that keeps on giving.

I have just had a shuttle valve replacement in my D2 and it was faulty. The cheeky sods have came back throwing the same code, option B about to be performed.

    Cheers, Chris

Urgh. Just drove home without issue...is it something that can maybe exist in the background for a bit? Only came on after hitting a speed bump so assuming its abs related. This thing is bleeding me dry this year ... 2 ecus, 5 trips to mechanic, waste gate this, air flow this..... doesnt stop.

Option B is about 2 hours of your life.

soldering iron, allen keys and some spanners is all it takes. The guides are pretty easy to follow. It is just a little fiddly to get the modulator out if you don't disconnect the brake lines. I didn't and just got the modulator out with the pump lifted up slightly.

You can leave it, it just means that the 3 amigos are on strike when the lights are on (my understanding). So you have not ABS or traction control when they are on. Hill descent probably not an issue, but it is nice to have ABS should you ever need it....

Mine was doing similar, it would be out and then every now and then a bump would turn them on. I've not seen them since I did the option b fix.

For the 3 amigos the best is to plug in a dedicated tester to see the fault code cos even though the SVSs or a wheel hub are the most common failures there can be many other reasons too and it's good to know in which default the system is untill it's fixed as there are cases when some functions are retained, the SVS option B wiring mod is a good move anyway as to be ruled out for eternity

I'm about to do my SVS. Had a go at removing the modulator with brake lines attached. Could only lift the box up maybe 100mm. Anyone have any tricks to do it without disconnecting the brake lines?
