    V8 O2 sensors

    Hi all, I have a 2001 V8 and the went to have the LPG tuned and was told the O2 sensors needed replacing. Ordered some and went to replace them and there are none after the CAT. Did they all come out with pre and post CAT sensors, I would have thought yes, but happy to be corrected..

    I have a D2a V8 and the post cat sensors on mine have been blanked off, So No post cat sensors on mine.
    You only get one shot at life, Aim well

    rear O2's are only for NA spec cars,,
    they are only there as a "check" that the fronts aand CAT are working,,

    Aussie delivered D2's didn't require post cat sensors as the emissions standards here were much weaker at that time.

    Front sensors can be replaced with AU/BA Falcon 4 wire sensors if you're feeling a bit poor. I have made adaptors by crimping the front end off an old D2 sensor to the harness side plug salvaged off an AU. Makes for a zero mod plug in conversion.
