What's the cabin volume D2 I assume in litres

I'm curious to know what is the cabin volume of a D2. I assume it is measured in litres like everything else.

Anyone got any reference material on the topic?

Take the second and third rows of seats out and you can measure the cabin size in gallons

Air volume? Packing volume? With or without seats? Best way to guesstimate is tape measure L x W x H in tens of cm, using mid points between widest and narrowest points.

Easiest way to measure is to seal the doors and drill a hole in the roof, then you get a 10l bucket and fill with the car with water.

but being a land rover the water would leak out so more water is added and then the overall capacity would be more!

To get a rough measure you could fill the cabin with tennis balls and measure the square of each tennis ball or maybe ping pong balls. Or marbles if you want to be more accurate. it would be a bugger to find all the marbles though. Imagine lost ones rolling around when you turned a corner.

Can't speak for a D2, but I can say that the volume in the cabin of my particular D1 is loud.

Turn the wireless down then. I have to say that the volume in my D2 is rather low with the windows wound up and the wireless turned off. So low I have trouble getting in.
