Thread: Gurgling sound from under the Dash - Disco II

The heater is constantly full of coolant. Ours used to gurgle frequently. One day it split and dumped green coolant in the driver's footwell out the back of Boulia. We bypassed it. Who needs a heater anyway?

The air bubble in the system can be cleared by "pulsing" it, that is when it's up to temp so that the t'stat is open, let it settle to idle, even turn it off, then rev it. I used to even do this while driving, in deserted areas of course.
