    Oils and Filters

So, the old man is thinking of changing the fluids, rater than paying $120/hr for an apprentice to do it.

What fluids and filters do you guys recommend?

Get a service kit from Roverlord.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    Oils and Filters

As above, and I believe there's a thread in The Good Oil called Lubrication, which, strangely enough, discusses oils :bigrolf:

In all seriousness look for a sale at Repco/Super Crap/Bursons, consult their lube guide book or online lube guide and buy fluids.
Just don't skimp, go for the better semi or full synthetic fluids for all compartments from one of the major blenders.

If an auto, my preference is for a full syn fluid purely due to the temps they can experience.

Not 2 stroke oil, use castor oil. (Runs ducks and covers)

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.
