    Keys

    Hi Guys,
Just recently joined the disco 2 club.
Bought a 2004 TD5. Only came with one key though. Previous owner lost the other.

The buttons on my key are both broken though, so just wondering if anyone knows someone in Perth that could fix it, or if anyone has a picture of the circuit board so I can figure out which parts need to be replaced.

    Cheers

Helps if we know roughly where you are cos Perth is a big city, and there are a number of options for what you want, so ideally we can advise and you pick the closest of the gooduns.

I once bought a couple of chinese fob repairs kit and threw them in the bin, they were rubbish quality, the button material was a very hard substance, I ended up buying on from a Perth seller on Ebay many years ago, his was better quality, a bit dearer , the button material was a lot easier to press. Sorry it was a few years ago,so don't remember the seller ,
    Cheers, Mario

Two seperate issues here. So, are the black buttons on the shell what are broken, and you can still operate the locks etc by pushing the little buttons inside, or are the little buttons inside the problem? Or, of course, both?

You can buy new microswitches from Jaycar for a couple of dollars.
