Thread: Brake package

Things are simple...

I want to pay premium for products made in Australia. But I want to make sure the stuffs are truly made in Australia.

Because the premium I pay will become someone else salary and they may spend it in my clinic you never know.

Howecer in most cases, they relocate their productions to China or Thailand etc.. but "forget " to drop the price.

Won’t bother speaking to a store manager, Or a distributor.

I’m mates with several at Kilsyth, even having worked on some product development and testing with them.

Some gear is made overseas, and they do clearly identify it. It’s the gear primarily for the $5000 4wd owner who won’t fit products priced the same value as their vehicle.

Quit with the conspiracy theories...

I’m all for Australian made, but understand the imports to reduce costs for cheap old vehicle owners.

I bet those "$5000 4wd" owner don't know their brand new ARB bullbar made in Thaiand. And when told so, they will say you are full of conspiracy theories?

Yes they do.

All the Dakar suspension is import. They never denied that either.

There’s a continual theme in all your posts. Seems everyone’s out to get you/Rip you off/cheat you/deceive you.

Reflect upon this for a moment:-
You wear out brakes quicker than most people.
You break more on you vehicle than most people.
You take months to get a simple warranty replacement part fitted.

Just some quick examples where the only common denominator is you. Perhaps it’s your approach?

How’s that Premium overpriced GoalZero unit *from China* going for you? Or that Projecta? They don’t proudly declare their country of origin and they certainly aren’t sold at cost+15%...
