    Recommended sealant for head plug td5

    Hey all,
    What is the preferred sealant for the leaky plug behind the exhaust manifold, the one with 12mm hex ?

    I used stag to seal mine Stag Jointing Paste 200G

    This was done about 30,000Km ago and no further leaks.
    2014, MY14 Discovery TDV6, Fuji White (2018-Now)
    2003, Discovery 2a, Td5 Manual, Zambezi Silver (2012-2018)
    2007, Adventure Offroad Campers, Grand Tourer (2015-Now)

    Sounds good , just so happens I have a few tubes of stag, always used it doing welsh plugs on BMC series A engines and plenty of others .

    I would use Loctite pipe sealant
    Loctite(R) PST 567 Master Pipe Thread Sealant - 250ml - 56741A | Blackwoods Xpress
