    D2a Side light LR000701

    Is there a non LR globe that matches this? I'm sure I've seen similar in Repco's Super cheap autobarn

    It's just a W5W (Wedge 5 Watt) globe. Any auto store would have them.

    Narva Automotive Globe - Wedge, 12V, 5W - Supercheap Auto ignore the photo, they have used a W3W (3 watt).

    So that's what W5W means. Same as T10?

    You can get non polarity sensitive types, but not worth the additional expense for that location(eg. compared to dash fitting, where it's a PITA to fit and remove if you got them wrong)

    T10 is not specific to an LED version of that globe design.

    I have no idea on what the T nomenclature is referring too, but the 10 = 10mm, or 10.3mm.

    the instrument cluster globes (wedge again), are a mix of T10 and T5 types.
    Search for T5 globes(and ignore the references to fluoro light globes) and you can still get halogen globes .. still the same T5 designation.

    I think some of the aircon/heater controls use a T4(4mm) wedge globe(as well as T5's), and they're ever so close in size to the T5, but no dice .. won't fit.
