Same issue with my dog. I would have to leave the car unlocked.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. Might be the answer if I can't turn the horn off with the nanocom.

The key lock is what I've used when needed - what about simply pulling the plug off the alarm horn?

Yes, just use the key to lock it and there is no alarm.

Absolutely sick of the alarm going off with the horn whenever it feels like it.

I have located the alarm horn off using the nanocom but after i disable the horn function i get a error message saying it couldn't save.

I checked the sd card and it is not locked.

    What am I missing?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

Mate, just put some sports tape over the internal sensors, at least eliminate the obvious geckos, mice,
moths etc. I park mine in the sun all day, windows cracked, bosses wife used to crack the ****s with alarm going off all day. Put the tape over never had a problem since, and you still have an alarm.

    Hi Guys

If you lock the doors on a D2-D2a with the key in the door lock you still have alarm, but it disables the cab movement sensors , you still have to open the doors with the button otherwise the alarm will go off. think this also works on D1.

    Hope this helps

There is a setting in the BCU to override that too(for D2)... it's named "always disarm with key" which will disarm the alarm no matter with what you unlock the doors(except a hammer or screwdriver )
